The Dirtiest Hands

An Exhibit of Prints, Books, Collages, Objects, and more!
Free Soap and Art Prints on Opening Night!

CEASE Art Collective is incredibly excited to kick off local artist JP King’s new exhibit, The Dirtiest Hands, with a night of cheap beer, free soap and amazing art.

Come get your hands dirty on a publicly mounted display of printed matter, including a single twenty seven foot book, reproductions of miniature collages, and a heap of tumbling engraved chairs!

JP’s unique take on collage has earned him a lot of fans in Montreal, in…cluding here at CEASE. His skill at breathing new life into re-appropriated images has made him a consistent favorite among the crowds at our past events. If you’ve yet to see his art, this is definitely the time to get acquainted.

The exhibit will be running until the 11th of March, but drop by for the vernissage and JP promises free bars of soap and a free limited edition art print! (While supplies last!) There will also be ridiculously cheap beer and great music. The night only goes from 6pm-8pm though, so don’t be late!

Works will be for sale at the vernissage and all through the exhibit. Which is great news, because we’re thinking of adding to our JP King collection…

So come out and support a talented local artist, have some beer and make some really great new friends! We promise you’ll have a great time.

The Opening Happens:
Wednesday, Feb. 23, from 6-8pm.

The Show Runs:
Feb. 21 to Mar.11
