The New and Prestigious Towne of Canada
| A Brief Report on the New and Prestigious Towne of Canada follows, amongst many thing, the elaborate election procedure involving a decision by the Horse Oracle based on a homemaking competition held at the local dump, the stories of mock heroes who stare the challenge of masculinity in the eye and utterly fail, the state of healthcare at the College of Women who Stare at Meat, and the weak and disorganized attempts at exploration, discovery, and colonization at the edge of towne.

“Invoking European travelogues describing new worlds and exotic peoples during the Age of Exploration, the black and white laser-printed accordion book combines a multitude of drawn and found images interspersed with cryptic text. This fictitious tale of discovery charts man’s desire for conquest, which includes mastery of all sorts of knowledge gleaned from print material ranging from anatomical prints and mathematical puzzles to blurry half-tone representations.”
